AgentGit is open-source source control for teams and coding agents. A useful first contribution can be a reproducible installation report or an explanation of where the workflow became confusing.

  • Watch it: A three-minute exact-tree workflow, with a transcript and recorder.
  • Try it: Getting started. Read the version note before installing.
  • Connect a task executor: Browser setup, then follow a scoped task to its run, review and integration.
  • Try it with a team: Beta programme. The early public beta has a narrow support scope; the checklist records the remaining independent qualification.
  • Report a problem: Bug report.
  • Discuss a workflow: Discussions. Include your goal, what you tried and what blocked it.
  • Contribute a change: CONTRIBUTING.md. Start with a small task and its component-specific checks.
  • Report a vulnerability: SECURITY.md, privately.

Good first contributions

Pick one supported platform or one workflow. Record the exact version, steps and expected result. Avoid sweeping rewrites as a first change. Useful work includes a clean-machine install report, keyboard or screen-reader findings, a verified MCP host configuration and clearer error recovery instructions. Ask in the issue before starting work already assigned to somebody.

We welcome evidence that something did not work. Please distinguish a confirmed result, an assumption and a proposal. Never upload credentials or private repository contents.
